Lab continues

Tuesday consisted of a partial lab and review of the lessons learned through the Walkin on Main Event Car Show over the weekend.

I have had a couple questions as to why shop points are added at the beginning of the week.  So I wish to clarify, Over the years the majority of our auto students are more successful in shop when they have a very defined and clear short term goal.  The best success has been when the shop points are added at the beginning of the week thus allowing each student to determine early what level of production exactly they need to manifest to be successful in shop within the next few days.

Current shop points are:

Oct 22,23,24,25, = 200 pts through 10/25/19

October 28,29,31= 150+200=350pts through 11/01/19

Nov 4,5,6,7,8= 250 pts + 350=600 pts through 11/08/19

Nov 13,14,= 100 pts +600=700 pts through 11/15/19

Shop/ Lab Begins

We will begin shop this week and we will be in shop until winter break.

The most successful students in shop prepare before shop.  They research their next task outside of shop time. They research theory and re-read the appropriate sections of their text books prior to shop time. This allows them to be as productive as possible during shop time thus earning the most possible points.
